Citizen journalist Dustin Lehrke had trouble renewing his permit with the Ramsey County Sheriff's office last month when they told him they only do applications by appointment. When he went to schedule his appointment, there wasn't anything available for over a month! So Derek went to the sheriff's office and attempted to do it in person, as the state law prescribes, and has now documented the obstacles he and others are encountering in order to have the legal ability to possess a firearm in the state of Minnesota.
